North 24 Parganas (India) correspondent: The excitement of Durga Puja ends on a high note as Durga Ma returns home after a four day stay. The wait begins for one year for her return.
The Durga Puja festival in Shyamnagar, in 24 Pgs (North), ended with Bhasan Parade. Approximately 38 idols were there for the submerging process. There were people dancing with joy, dhaki (drummers) were playing in excitement, the woman with sindur on their faces, uttering “Asche Bochor Abar Hobe”.
The wait for next year Durga Puja begins. The 2022 Durga Puja starts on 1st October. The festival of joy, love and excitement will come around next year.
