North 24 Parganas (India) corresponden: Mamata Banerjee, who is the current Chief Minister of West Bengal, shook the ground of BJP. BJP candidate, Priyanka, literally lost her ground against TMC supremo, Mamata. Banerjee, took the lead since the first round counting in Bhowanipore bypoll election. She recently won the election by 58,389 votes against her nearest candidate Tebriwal.
It seems it was coming for BJP as after they lost in Bidhan sabha elections in Bengal, many leaders left BJP and started to join TMC, the major of being Babul Supriyo and Mukul Roy.
Mamata Banerjee will remain CM for her third consecutive time. She not only surpassed Shovan Deb Chattopadhyay’s lead in 2021 elections, but practically crushed BJP candidate Priyanka Tebriwal. It also seem that BJP has lost its ground in West Bengal.
