Hamilton closes the gap between Verstappen

North 24 Parganas (India) correspondent: With just two round of races to go, Lewis Hamilton continue to surprise the fans by winning two consecutive races. Though Red Bull driver, Max Verstappen is still leading the Drivers Championship by 7 points, Hamilton is knocking the doors. With just two races to go, i.e., Saudi Arabian Grand Prix and Abu Dhabi GP, it’s still not clear who will win the championship.
Lewis Hamilton qualified in the pole position along with Max Verstappen in the 7th. Valterri Bottas finished 3rd in the grid in the qualifying but with a front left tire puncture, he finished 14th. Lewis Hamilton dominated throughout the Qatar Grand Prix and finished first. Max Verstappen recovered well finishing 2nd and thus still holding the lead. Alpine driver, Fernando Alonso finished third and made a comeback by making a podium finish.
The calculation is quite critical for Driver’s Championship. If Max wins the next race he will be crowned as the champion, but if Hamilton wins the next one he will lead the table. If Lewis Hamilton wins the next race, the Abu Dhabi GP would be a crucial one as whoever wins will take the Championship.
