BTC News Sports Desk: Indian sprinter Dutee Chand is fuelled and geared up for her second appearance in Olympics. There is some stiff competitions in 100 m and 200 m races but she is confident of reaching the semis.
Though she is unable to reach the qualifying time of 11:15 seconds to qualify for Tokyo Olympics, yet she is confident of taking part in it. 22 slots are still available in 100 m races and 15 in 200 m races. These will be selected via world rankings of athletes. Currently, Dutee stands at 44th in 100 m and 51st in 200 m in the world rankings. She is yet to receive any formal invitation from the world athletics body. In Rio Olympics , Elaine Thompson of Jamaica won the 100 m with an outstanding time of 10.71 seconds .
