North 24 Parganas (Kolkata) correspondent: A micro-quarantine of 4 days has been issued in Shyamnagar, as the new Delta Plus strain of Covid 19 has been found in Bhatpara Municipal Area. Strict instructions have been issued in order to curtail the flow.
There has been a decrease in Covid cases in West Bengal, especially in North 24 Pgs from the past few days. But the new Delta strain, a part of Indian variant has infected more than 10 people in past 7 days. Keeping that in view, the Govt of West Bengal had decided to implement a short lockdown along with other affected areas in order to control the situation before, it gets out of control. The Police and administrative authorities are taking proper steps in order to control the situation. Regular micking is being conducted to make people aware of the situation.
