Indian Javelin Hero returns with Gold

BTC News Sports Desk: Promising at 14 and top af the world at 23 is the journey for Neeraj Chopra who striked Gold for India in Tokyo Olympics 2020, now returns home. He is now a hero in the eyes of Naseem Ahmed, Chopra’s coach in his formative years at Panchkula’s Haryana Sports Department Residential Academy. Neeraj scripted his name among the Indian Gold Medal winners in Olympics. He won the maiden athletics medal in Olympics in Javelin with a best throw of 87.58m.
Next year, Neeraj has a packed schedule. The Commonwealth Games, Asian Games and World Athletics Championships. The focus will be on him as he is a world champion now. So he will have to perform as a champion. He is on his way home now. He said to a press conference that he will have food cooked by his mother, especially ‘choorma’ and will celebrate his winning. He is not just a hero but a pride of nation as well.
