Fasten the seatbelts for the Indian Domestic Tournaments

BTC News Sports Desk: The Covid-19 pandemic had put on hold the normal movements of the globe. But with the decrease in daily cases everything seems to be coming back to normal. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) have finally announced that all formats of domestic tournaments that are halt for a year has returned. The glory days are back and maybe new champions, new stars etc will rise.
The most exciting and one of the oldest first class tournament, The Ranji Trophy will begin from November 16th, said BCCI. This is particularly a good news for those cricketers who are neither in Indian National Team nor have an IPL contract. A three month window is extracted for hosting the tournament. A BCCI insider said, ” It remains to be seen if the competition is held on a zonal basis, which could be safer in these times as it means less travel for the teams.” Also, Kolkata too could be one of the hosts for the Ranji Trophy matches.
In addition to Ranji Trophy, Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy and Vijay Hazare Trophy are also on radar as BCCI may also conduct these tournaments.
