Double Trouble from Boumous, Bagan’s firey start

North 24 Parganas (India) correspondent: It could not have been a better start of campaign for ATK Mohun Bagan as they defeated Kerala Blasters by 4-2. Ex Mumbai City FC player Hugo Boumous scored a brace, Liston Colaco scored a curler and huntsman Roy Krishna scored from a penalty.
ATK played attacking from the very first minute. In the 3rd minute of the game, Hugo played a long ranger, which Kerala Blasters claimed offside, put them in the lead. Kerala Blasters retaliated with Abdul Samad scoring in the 24th minute.
Albino Gomes gifted a penalty to Figian striker Roy Krishna, which he converted to goal in the 27th minute. At the end of half time, Boumous scored another one in the 39th minute which took the game away from the Blasters.
Liston Colaco scored an outstanding curler to take the lead to 4-1 in the 59th minute. Diaz of Kerala Blasters scored in the 69th minute and eventually they lost the match by 4 goals to 2.
Hugo Boumous was adjudged Hero of the Match. The Bengal derby, i.e., SC East Bengal vs ATK Mohun Bagan FC will be played on 27th of November.
