BTC News Sports Desk: Max Verstappen has accused his championship rival Lewis Hamilton of being “disrespectful” and “dangerous “as he crashed with Hamilton in the first lap and was retired out of the race.
The 23 year old Max, was injured in the accident and was taken to the on-site medical centre before it was deemed necessary to transfer him to a local hospital for further precautionary tests .
Verstappen later brings out his disappointment and anger on social media. He said, “Glad I’m Ok. Very disappointed with being taken out like this,”. He also added, ” The penalty given does not help us and doesn’t do justice to the dangerous move Lewis made on track. Watching the celebrations while still in hospital is disrespectful and unsportsmanlike behaviour but we move on.”
