Outcast India finishes with a bang

North 24 Parganas (India) correspondent: India exits the 2021 T20 World Cup by crushing Namibia by 9 wickets with 26 balls remaining. Many thought that, if the campaign of India started with Namibia, Afghanistan and Scotland, India would have qualified for the semis. But, for the first time since 2014 ICC Champions Trophy, India failed to qualify for playoffs in a major ICC event.
Other than loosing the toss, all went well for Indian side as they restricted Namibia for a meagre 132 for 8. Jadeja and Ashwin took 3 wickets each and Burman took 2. In the chase KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma blew away Namibian bowling attack as they finished the tournament with a bang.
Virat Kohli’s captaincy too ended for India in T20s as a he played his last match as captain. Also the partnership of Ravi Shastri and Virat Kohli ended on a good note. Rahul David will take the coaching staff into his hands from now on as India look back to come strong and fearless in the upcoming events.
