Mighty Kiwis flourish as Indian batting falters

North 24 Parganas (Kolkata) correspondent: India are in backfoot at the end of Day 3 of World Test Championship Final which is played in England. Experts suggested long before the match that the difference makers will be the bowlers from both sides. But it seems that New Zealand bowlers have got a better rhythm than that of Indian counterpart.
India were cruising with 144/3 at the end of day 2,with Virat Kohli at 44 and Ajinkya Rahane at 34 not out. That time it seemed that 300 plus score is quite achievable . But in the beginning of day 3 all changed with some accurate bowling by Kiwis and India managed just a meagre score of 217. Kyle Jamieson took 5 wickets dismissing two big guns of India that is Virat Kohli and Rishab Pant in quick succession. India could never recover from that landslide and failed to capitalise on a good start in such a big stage.
New Zealand batsmen start their first innings on a high note and are in a quite comfortable with 101 on board at the loss of 2 wickets . Devon Conway who scored double century at his debut managed to score 54. Kiwi captain Kane Williamson is on crease along with Ross Taylor. If India wants to come back in the game, Indian bowlers need to take wickets. Large number of fans have to wait and watch what further action awaits in the big finale.
