KKR slay dominant DC

North 24 Parganas (India) correspondent: KKR who came into this match with a near win against CSK. They were in backfoot when Russell was injured before the match. But with a magnificent performance, KKR defeated DC. DC lost their first game in second leg of IPL 2021.
KKR captain won the toss and elected to field first. The team was made with two changes. Tim Southee, the replacement of Pat Cummins, was selected in place of Russell and Sandeep Warrier in place of Prasidh Krishna. As for DC, Prithvi Shaw was replaced by Steve Smith.
DC went of too a flier after Orange Cup holder, Shikhar Dhawan went out for 24 runs. The in form, Shreyas Iyer went for a duck. Rishab Pant and Smith gave some stability but also went cheaply . They lost wickets at regular intervals. Also they failed to hit a single boundary.

Sunil Narine was adjudged Man of the Match for his 2 wickets for 18 runs and 21 off 10 balls. Kolkata Knight Rider will play next match against Punjab Kings.
