North 24 Parganas (Kolkata) correspondent: ATK Mohun Bagan are trying to get a taste of EURO 2020 with Finland international Joni Kauko set to join the club.
Kauko, a midfielder of 31 years, is a part of Finland team taking part in EURO 2020. The midfielder will be a marquee player with ATK. Officially, the club is tight-lipped but on their official Twitter handle when a cryptic message came into light – ” Mariners are you scouting during EURO 2020? Keep an eye out for the potential talent!:!” This fuelled speculations amongst the fans of ATK Mohun Bagan.
Kauko will replace Spanish midfielder Javi Hernandez. The Kolkata giants finished runners up in ISL VII and have already roped in Indian goalkeeper Amrinder Singh from Mumbai City FC and attacking medio Liston Colaco from Hyderabad FC.
