PRESS RELEASE: Huawei has recently organized campus recruitment at Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET) and Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST). Selected candidates will get the opportunity to work with Huawei.
More than 300 students from these two universities took part in the MCQ and written screening process. The arrangement was conducted by Md Safiul Alam, Senior Manager; Omar Heider Masfique Ahmad, HR Manager; Md Shariful Islam, Assistant HR Manager; Gao Jianquan, Senior Leader; Md. Fara Newas, Senior HR Manager; and Md Khalid Hossain, HR Executive from Huawei.
Md. Fara Newas, Senior HR Manager, Huawei, said, “Bangladeshi youth has great potential. They should be properly nurtured. Thus, Huawei focuses on creating job opportunities for the youth of Bangladesh so that they can grow with right skills, environment, facilities and opportunities. We also found them very enthusiastic to drive Huawei’s vision to build a fully connected, intelligent Bangladesh. And we will continue creating this local job opportunities for our youth.”
Professor Dr. Md. Nazrul Islam Mondal, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, RUET, commented, “As freshers, they are filled with hope and ambition. I want to thank Huawei Bangladesh for bringing this significant recruitment program to the RUET campus. I believe that such a program can shape the students’ future and determine the kind of life they will lead.”
Professor Dr. Tareq Aziz, Head of the Electrical & Electronic Engineering Department, AUST, shared, We always feel proud to see our students working at Huawei Bangladesh as the contribution of this company is very meaningful for country’s development. Our graduates are also happy because they know that Huawei is the right environment to grow and achieve their career goals. I appreciate Huawei’s effort for continuing their recruitment program at AUST. At the same time, arranging campus recruitment at AUST shows the trust from Huawei towards us.”
Huawei is committed to developing ICT talent in the country and giving precious opportunities to fresh graduates. It will continue similar recruitment events at different universities across the country on a regular basis.
