Google Officially Announces Android 12, Update Soon Starting with Pixel, Realme and Other Smart Phones

Google has officially begun rolling out the stable version of its latest generation of Android on Pixel devices for users across the globe. The US-based search engine giant has released the source code for Android 12 to the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) and will soon be rolling it out to devices starting with Google Pixel phones. Google has informed that the phones from Samsung, OnePlus, Oppo, Realme, Tecno, Vivo, and Xiaomi will get Android 12 “later this year”.
The Android 12 Stable version will allow its users to utilize the better customization features and new visual identity with the help of the new redesign Material You developed by Google. The latest version will also bring new design changes to Google Workspace applications, including Gmail, Calendar, Meet, Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Slides. Sharing an official blog post on Monday, Google wrote, “Today we’re pushing the source to the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) and officially releasing the latest version of Android. Keep an eye out for Android 12 coming to a device near you starting with Pixel in the next few weeks and Samsung Galaxy, OnePlus, Oppo, Realme, Tecno, Vivo, and Xiaomi devices later this year.”We’ll also be talking about Android 12 in more detail at this year’s Android Dev Summit, coming up on October 27-28. Android 12 introduces a new design language called Material You, helping you to build more personalized, beautiful apps.
