Kolkata (India) correspondent: US-based tech giant Apple is hiring engineering graduates in India for various roles in their tech team.
The iPhone maker is also looking to hire full-time software engineering interns between January and July next year. The internship opportunity is available for those who can work at their Bengaluru office. “India is one of the few countries in the world where Apple manufactures iPhones. We are proud to locally manufacture iPhone 12, iPhone SE, iPhone 11 and iPhone XR, and have also previously manufactured iPhone 7, iPhone 6S, and the first generation of iPhone SE in the country,” says Apple on their website.
1. Network Security Engineer — Global Network Services
Eligibility — More than 5 years of experience in managing network firewalls like Cisco ASA and Juniper SRX firewalls with a bachelor’s degree and expert level certifications.
Key responsibilities — The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, operate gracefully under stress, handle multiple assignments in parallel, and be self-driven to be effective in an environment with little overhead.
2. Cellular Systems Analysis Engineer
Eligibility — At least 3-8 years hands on experience in system engineering/system performance analysis role or over 3 years experience in cellular analysis, test or development role would be required.
Key responsibilities — The position involves identifying and/or developing core cellular technologies that solves everyday problems for customers using iPhone, iPad, Watch and other wireless product lines.
Eligibility — 10 plus years experience in front-end engineering with more than 5 plus years experience in leading teams.
Key responsibilities — The primary role will be leading/managing employees should have a deep technical knowledge of software engineering which will help you support the accessibility engineers on your team delivering accessibility consultancy.
4. Regulatory Compliance Engineer
Eligibility — Over 7 years of relevant work experience. Experience of working with ICT regulators with credible relationships.
Key responsibilities — Work with TEC, BIS, MeitY, DoT, WPC on regulatory and policy engagements related to product compliance in India.
5. Senior Software Engineer — Data Platform
Eligibility — 10 plus years of experience in software development in Java/Linux environment with more than 5 years of experience in architecting and building scalable data intensive platforms.
Key responsibilities — The candidate will be responsible for developing, testing and deploying data applications and services.
6. Business Analyst/Solutions Architect — Customer Systems
Eligibility — Bachelor’s in engineering /B.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent field plus 3-5 years of related experience.
Key Responsibilities — Lead brainstorming sessions to gather requirements and perform high level systems impact analysis for new business initiatives.
7. Software Engineer: Full Stack
Eligibility — Bachelor’s degree in engineering/computer science or equivalent with a minimum of three years relevant work experience. Master’s/MBA is also preferred.
Key responsibilities — Lead and contribute to engineering efforts from design to implementation, solving sophisticated technical challenges around developer and engineering efficiency and velocity.
8. Senior Architect — Ad Platform
Eligibility — Minimum 15-20 years of industry experience in designing, implementing and delivering complex, scalable and resilient platforms and services. Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
Key responsibilities — Responsible for the platform from design, development, testing and monitoring its usage and effectiveness in production.
