Kolkata (India) correspondent: Telecom operators Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea announced price hike for its mobile prepaid plans. The telco increased prices of the plans by up to 25%. After a gap of three years, Google’s Android distribution data was published online. According to the data, two-year old Android 10 runs on more than 25% of Android phones. Bharti has announced a price hike for its mobile prepaid plans. The company has raised prices
of almost all its prepaid plans by 20-25%. For example, the Rs 79 prepaid plan will now cost Rs 99. The new tariffs have come into effect starting November 26, 2021.
Vodafone announces price hike for mobile prepaid plans
After Airtel, Vodafone Idea was another telecom operator to announce tariff hike. Similar to Airtel, the base plan of Vodafone Idea now starts at Rs 99. It’s previous cost was Rs 79. Validity of the plan remains the same at 28 days. The new plans are effective from November 25.
